I was absolutely appalled when the Democrats in congress voted for a stimulus bill that they never even had time to read. But they have now out done even that level of irresponsibility. This time them Democrats and the eight Republicans that shall be forever known as the “Judas 8” voted for a Cap and Trade (read Cap and Tax) bill that didn’t even exists.
The truth about this bill is, if it becomes law it will;
1) Restrict business in this country without effecting China or India.
2) Raise taxes on energy when the U.S. economy is in a recession and could go into depression.
3) Drive companies to country’s with a friendly business climate.
4) Generate billions for Wall Street, after all who do you think is going to trade all these carbon credits?
5) Unforeseen consequences, “The road to Hell is paved with good intensions”. Just look at what has happened with like “Endangered Species Act” or “Disability Act”. These laws have had repercussions that have shattered the U. S. economy and infringed on the rights of the people. What horrors will the ”Cap and Trade” release on the rights of the people?
6) This is the worst consequence of all, the rights of the people will be infringed as they will live under totalitarianism.
These Tyrants in the Federal Government rule over us not giving any concern to the nation we want to leave for our children and their children. But rule over us like they are an elite class that answers to NO ONE. I commend most Republicans for their hard work to stop the tyrannical rule of OBAMA (WHO IS A COMMUNIST). But we must never let up in our defense of liberty. Even as the Tyrants in Washington rule in complete opposition to the consent of the people.
